been dota-ing far too much recently. have to try to make it to an outside team for competitions. our schl standard is... not up to standard. as far as i know, less than 20 pple can dota well. and there's a few, who can't play, can't last hit, whines like a loser (yes, the same guy whom 4A fought against in the semi-finals) and challenges ppl to dota. like no one can pwn a noob.

number one:
they nerfed admiral proudmoore

its perfectly ok to nerf him, but they nerfed the wrong damn skill. they shld have nerfed tidebringer's AOE so that you don't wipe out one full creep wave with a battlefury and buriza. nerfing the speed bonus from 30% to 10% won't make much of a diff, since ghost ship is mainly used for the crash damage and coco's rum

number two:
the two remade heroes

why the fuck did icefrog remake storm spirit and undying? i have no idea. now, undying is very scarily imba, especially with his pushing power due to soul rip and tombstone. his 1st skill shld be nerfed, since -4 str for 30 secs and 5 secs cd will result in like -20+ str, and then, one dagon 5 will instantly kill that unlucky hero. his ulti is ok.

storm spirit's remake is... weird. overload is much less useful, however, the three new skills are quite imba, except for the fact that lvl 3 ball lightning drains 500+ mp per sec. considering you only have like 3k+ at most. quite ok farming with overload + static remnant.

number three:
enchantress's buffed base damage

+10 damage is no joke. now enchant can farm much more easily, considering her average base damage is in the low 50s. its now possible to farm a guinsoo in 15 mins (my minimum time for guinsoo dropped from 17 mins to 15.20)

number four:
new basher

25% bash. does not stack with other bashes. ranged bash remains at 10%

spiritbreaker will own. seriously. now the noob am build with basher + butterfly will be back to haunt us. goddamnit return the old useless basher back (since i don't buy it anyway)

Is dao-ing a boon or a bane? Discuss.

Dao-ing, or ignoring, has been a fervent and recurring event in every single person's life. This is mostly caused by tiredness, lack of eye to eye contact, and being irritable and unfriendly. Dao-ing is a useful method of removing attention from a target, without the need to use force or insults. However, there are repercussions from dao-ing too often.

Ignoring people has been a innocent, yet effective means to prevent unwanted attention to a person. This is due to the fact that no deterrence, which will result in violence and injury, or insult, which will lead to a mental assault and enfeeblement. Hence, this is one of the most justified way of getting away from people.

This rivals the art of tai-chi, where you attempt to defeat your enemy with minimal injuries, as well as the art of trashtalking, where you irritate your opponent until he gives up.

‘色'是指有形质的一切万物。此万物为因缘所生，并非本来实有，因此其当体是空。此谓之‘色即是空'。 Hence, this has shown that all form of existence is initially empty. One will do just as well not responding to verbal or visual signs than to respond, as nothing "exists".

However, negative repercussions of dao-ing can be detected, in both target of dao-ing, and the dao-er him/herself. The dao-ee, after being dao-ed for some time, will have negative body strains, known as stress. Stress is a biological term which refers to the consequences of the failure of a human or animal body to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats to the organism, whether actual or imagined. Stress will induce a state of alarm and increased adrenaline production, short-term resistance as a coping mechanism, and exhaustion. Common stress symptoms include irritability, muscular tension, inability to concentrate and a variety of physical reactions, such as headaches and accelerated heart rate. This might lead to cardiac arrest or brain damage from excessive stress. A study concluded recently noted that out of 1537 dao-ee's, a staggering 1428 have committed suicide. The remaining 109 are fictional characters.

In conclusion, it is very obvious that dao-ing, although a safe, painless, and easy way to remove unwanted attention, the physical and mental dangers it brings poses a harm to the health and well-being of a human being. Hence, dao-ing despite of its advantages, is still a bane to human society.

Today shall be known as CNC3 day (where me and an acjc guy got into semi finals of some weird competition that only gives 2k as prize money ---> WCG gives like 30k per team?)

The first opponent was a rather bad-mouthed team from hillgrove that can rival zhenwen's dictionary of vulgarities. they from start to end produced like one vulgarity every 5 seconds, and double that when their base gets raped by the acjc guy (world ladder rank 38th)

The second opponent were two brothers who bore a strong resemblance to a male sinyee. should have taken a photo. They got owned in 15 mins
(how did they get to the second round in the first place?)

The third opponents were the only one with a challenge, and we had to rematch twice (due to legal time limit, draw if winner cannot be decided by 90mins). The ang moh guy was the first pro scrin user i have seen. His micro is super gay, but too bad his teammate let him down when his base gets blown up within 16 mins of the third game.

The last opponent team was a sec (?) team from DHS that according to my acjc friend, "should not be here at all". i'll post up a video soon and you can watch for yourself.

Nationals on 14th July, CNC3 WCG qualifying (unsure), Semis on 17th Aug, nice excuse to pon school and bio SPA. Finals on 23rd Sept.

Rather eventful afternoon lan outing.
-Ziyu was wearing some sexy sweater thing w/o any inner shirt, so when we pulled the zip down we saw some real white flesh.
-Couples day; Ziyu with Ru Meng and Zhenzhou with Wenxi
-Jian Nan got killed by Bloodrage
-Zi Yu got denied just before Leonard's axe hit him
-Geoffrey had a nice league record of 5 kills and about 30 deaths in total.
-Enchantress with rapier, eul's, guinsoo, treads, meka and 2 aegises (or aegii?) by 55 mins
-Shadow Fiend (Nan) who got more than 300 creep kills in 60 mins.

Some weird stuff that i encountered while playing FFIV Advanced on GBA

-Kain flies into the sky like a cruise missile when he uses jump, and lands like 7 seconds later. Crazy hangtime.

-What sort of skill is Bluff? Cheats a monster so that it doesn't attack you? Not exactly. It increases Palom's magic power.

-Command: Cry
Porom cries, which flusters the enemy and gives you an easier chance of
running away from the battle. Wtfish

-Yang can kick every enemy on the screen while he's still in the air. Another case of crazy hang time.

-A Black mage in Mysidia will turn you into a frog, a Dancer in the Inn will turn you into a pig.

-Porom and Palom turn themselves into stone to prevent a ceiling from crushing Cecil and his party. Why couldn't Palom just Firaga the wooden door?

Super imba la him. And then during GP, there were a lot of lame terms being given out. Like Faith got some religion/mythology based term, Jefferson got How man falls/Fall from grace, and lim peh got Master Race, which i dun freaking know what it is. Jefferson's one is pretty easy though.

Throw a banana peel on the floor. A man slips on it. Thats the fall of man.
Grace carries a guy. She drops the guy. Thats the guy's fall from grace.

Some people of other classes got chim chim terms, like quid pro quo (sth i saw from halo3 mission 1), que sera sera, camelot (a lot of camels i guess) and chim literature stuff. Imba la.

During Bio today, Mrs Ivy Lim was talking alot of dota terms.
-There should be a time lapse between when you place the peels in the solutions.

Time lapse is the ultimate of the Nerubian Weaver, allowing it to travel 5 seconds back in time, setting its HP, MP and location back to where it was 5 seconds ago.

-Take care not to hook the flesh out of your finger when you pull out the glass slide (to me, when i broke a glass slide and stabbed my finger)

Refers to meat hook, the basic skill of pudge that pulls its target to its maw.

-Our Bio lesson will go by in a blur as it's interesting (crap lah)

Evasion skill of Mortred that eventually turns her into literally a blur.

-The potato tissue repels liquid (should be expel i think.)

Repel prevents magic spells from targeting a target, and removes negative buffs on casting.

-Purify your language, Jun Yang (To jun yang, who keeps saying bullshit to benfoo while he's trying to flirt with rebecca and meixue)

Purification, in this case Purify, heals a target for 360 HP and deals 360 pure damage to enemies in a 200 AOE at level 4.

From this, we can tell Mrs Lim likes Omniknight alot. (Cool blonde hair)
It would be an imba hero, with meat hook, repel, purification and time lapse. purification may be substituted with blur.

And as a side note, i didn't think that pussy face would win the discus event. seriously. but at least he got a gold for DHS. And damn that guy (you should know which one) for not letting me take part in 4 schools when i can claim a medal as easy as ABC babe. Lim pei last time throw 26m, let me go. Now throw 36m, don't let. And still let Alson. Seriously wtf la.

Then there was this noisy bear, which was groaning like it got anal-raped, instead of having its gall bladder drawn out. Jeff was like copying its voice, and its pretty irritating. Then later Ray did that during geog and Mrs Leah Wong (Ms Leah Aw) thought it was someone's handphone vibrating.

Zhen Wen (a.k.a Disciple 1) has been improving lately. However, theres a few (not exactly) things that Kwong balls has to take note.

1. Late release
8/10 of his throws are late releases, which basically mean you release late(duh) and the discus flies out of the back of the hand. This causes backspin, aerodynamic instability and short distance. In short, you are better off throwing the discus like a frisbee than releasing it late.

2. Posture
Zhen Wen is standing in the correct position. However, he only uses his arm strength to push off the discus. Bending legs a little will increase the throwing distance as upon release, you can use your legs to push out. And in discus, chest muscle matters, not biceps. Thats why jiao lian got imba-lly huge biceps and can't throw discus that far.

3. Foul throw
9/10 of Zhen Wen's throws are foul throws. Either he throws out of bounds, or when he release, he bua dou and land outside of the circle. This can't be prevented from happening, but he can bend his legs to cushion reaction force from releasing the discus.

And during field training that day, the bballers were running and throwing full throws. Jiao Lian stand there and pwned all of them. And as a reply to Zhen Wen, yes, he can kill the soccer players. last time he did a full throw (2 years ago) he threw 67m.

Jyh Howe (Disciple 2) should stick to javelining and shot put le. There isn't really enough time for him to throw discus, although he is FORCED to take part in all 3.

As a side note, during the 4-schools, you get 2 warm up throws and 6 qualifying throws. If there are too many people competing, there might be heats. If you are in the last 2 positions after the third throw, they give you one more throw. (Forget whether now still the same).

Discus record for C-Boys now stands at a measly 38.5m. Not very far compared to what we (me, alson, clinton, yonglin) can throw now.

CCHMS (Chung Cheng) has no good C-Boy throwers as far as i know. So go out there and flay them, if you can. And freaking get a 3rd C-Boy. You (Zhen Wen) can get tiong balls, jin zhi or isaac boyboy to come.

The Art of Discus

So now, I'm going to crap about discus, for the good of Zhen Wen. Pictures provided after thursday, which is like my first training session in 2-3 weeks.

1. The Discus is an athletic throwing event in track and field competition. The discus, the object to be thrown, is a heavy lenticular disc with a diameter of 220 mm (8.66 inches) and a weight of two kilograms (4 lb 7 oz) for the men's event, and one kg (2 lb 3 oz) for the women's, with a smaller diameter of 181 mm (7.17 inches). In U.S. high school track and field, boys typically throw a discus weighing 1.616 kg (3 lb 9 oz) and the girls throw the 1 kg (2.2 lb) women's disc. The discus can be thrown starting at age 11 (midget division). Most children throw the 1 kg discus. The discus usually has sides made of rubber, plastic, wood, or metal with a metal rim and a metal core to attain the weight. A discus with more weight in the rim produces greater angular momentum for any given spin rate, and thus more stability, although it is more difficult to throw. A practice discus made of solid rubber is often used in High School; it is cheaper, more durable, and easier to learn to throw (due to its more equal distribution of weight, as opposed to the heavy rim weight of the metal rim/core discus).

2. Discus throwing is an ancient sport. In the 5th century BC the sculptor Myron made a statue of a discus thrower (Discobolus), which is world-famous today (although the technique obviously employed by that ancient thrower is no longer considered anywhere near optimal).

3. To make a throw, the competitor starts in a slightly recessed concrete-surfaced circle of 2.5 meters (8 feet 2½ inches) diameter. The thrower typically takes an initial stance facing away from the direction of the throw. He then spins around one and a half times through the circle to build momentum, then releases his throw. The discus must land within a 40-degree or 60-degree arc marked by lines on the landing zone, and the competitor must not exit the circle until the discus has landed, then must wait for the judge to give clearance to exit the ring from the rear half. The distance from the front edge of the circle to where the discus has landed is measured, and distances are rounded down to the nearest centimeter or half-inch. The competitor's best throw from the allocated number of throws, typically three to six, is recorded, and the competitor who legally throws the discus the farthest is declared the winner. Ties are broken by determining which thrower has the longer second-best throw.

4. The basic motion is a forehanded sidearm movement. The discus is spun off the index finger or the middle finger of the throwing hand, spinning clockwise when viewed above for a right-handed thrower, and vice-versa. As well as achieving maximum momentum in the discus on throwing, the discus's distance is also determined by the trajectory the thrower imparts, as well as the aerodynamic behaviour of the discus. Generally, one wishes to throw into a moderate headwind to achieve maximum throws. Also, a faster-spinning discus imparts greater gyroscopic stability. The technique of discus throwing is quite difficult to master and needs lots of experience to get right, thus most top throwers are thirty years old or older.

5. A common technique employed by younger people is to not spin at all, but to jump forward a step to gather momentum. Although it doesn't provide as much power, it is easier to do.

6. Interestingly, the discus is the only track and field event in which a men's world record has never been set during the Olympic Games.

Enough of that Wikipedia crap. Now lim peh is going to elaborate on some details. For Zhen Wen, who is Sec 2 now, he will throw a 1kg discus. Normally, the discus distance thrown for 1kg in Sec 2 is about the distance you throw in Sec 4. So Zhen Wen should optimally throw 25m. In the Four-School Sports Meet, there is no choice of discus. You will get the wooden discus with the metal rim. So during training, please do NOT take the rubber discus, which has different aerodynamic capabilities (Refer to 1.)

Since we do not do spin throws (unless you want 1000 people to laugh at you), we stand perpendicular to where we want to throw at. Make sure your target point, your left leg and right leg are parallel to one another. For a right-handed thrower, like Zhen Wen, he has to place his left leg nearer to the circle. Confident throwers (lim peh) will stand with the foot to the edge of the circle, as distance is calculated from the middle of the circle. However, if you leave the circle before the judge, referee, w/e asks you to, your throw is void. And you can only leave from the rear half of the circle.

Quoting "4. The basic motion ... or older.". Lim peh will talk about stationary throw, as its the only one i can do well. it basically means that you throw with the palm of your hand facing the floor. The first part is known as the charging part, where you swing your discus backwards and support it with the other hand. Do it a few times to gain momentum. Upon the last charge, swing backward more and use upper body strength and leg strength to throw the discus out. Bending your legs a little during the whole throw will help. Upon release, your hand must be straight. Use the middle and index finger to impart a spin (just a spin) on the discus, instead of the 4th finger or pinkeh, as this will result in the discus coming out of the back of your hand, drastically reducing distance. Wind generally does not affect your throw much, but during the Sports Meet, you could wait for a better wind if the original wind direction is against you. The harder you spin, the more stable it is, and won't flap like an Indian's roti prata flying through the air. Anyway, not all top throwers are 30 and above. I'm only 17.

Do not ever jump when you release the discus. Coach will scold you until you cry, and it doesn't do much except hurt your ankle when you land.

Any type of throw is allowed, as long as you use your hand. You can throw it both handed, frisbee it through the air, or spin it like a basketball. As long as you don't throw out of bounds, that is. Speaking of that, a 40 (most likely) or 60 degree arc marks the boundary where the discus must land to be considered a qualified throw. And discus is the hardest, and of course most seh throw. So it fits Zhen Wen well. Anyone who reads this should join, as long as you're in DHS. Sec 3s and 4s are not recommended, as the 1.5kg discus will be harder to throw. Girls always throw 1kg (wtf la), so all can come. Sec 2 guys will have the most chance to win medals though.

Anyway the world record is 76.80m for women and 74.08m for guys. Of course, guys throw the 2kg discus, which is significantly harder to throw than the wussy 1kg.

Word of the day : I for inactivity. Blogging is a waste of a precious 15 mins that could be spent on playing games or studying.

Anyway, today was a rather... interesting Friday.

Faith dao me when i try to talk to her in canteen. Nehnehpok.

Later was the 4 period (zomg) chem practical today. Miss Edison Rectangle (Chang Fang Hsin) was absent, then Mr Tia (Buay Tio) came in and taught us.

So, the results of my 3 months of not doing Chem pracs showed.
Test 1 - Some Chemical X thing.
People got white fluffy clouds after heating, I got a yellow-brown thing that looks
like a rotten orange.

Test 2 - Add Hydrogen Peroxide to something
Mine released hydrogen gasa (wtf) when its supposed to be oxygen.

Test 6 - Add Silver Nitrate to some nonsense.
Mine turned into a heap of brown above some colourless thing. Supposed to turn white.
Even Mr Tia was confused.

Test 7 - Add excess Aqueous Ammonia (blah blah)
Supposed to have no ppt (colourless).
Mine turned BLACK. wtf.

And then afternoon i saw Sinyee. She's a girl guide zomfg. And Cheryl dao me. So did Isaac boy boy. Today seems to be the day of dao-ing.

Bball abit boring. Next time must play rougher. Then, we compared blisters. Wayne won with a 10cm by 5cm hulk.

And Kenehneh felt sad when Joel played Fantasie Impromptu. Total Ownage, babe. The

Then, is the report on Marcus's stolen wallet. Marcus Ng Yi Hao. If you're the fucked up bastard who stole his wallet, may birds shit on you, may coconuts drop on you, may your balls burst into flames, and may your mother die. WARNING! SPOILERS ALERT!

From whatever limited stuff i got from Marcus, his wallet was stolen with 70 bucks, his EZ Link card, and some stuff in class. IN CLASS.

Then, his SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP TEACHER Ms ___(3 letters) ____(4 letters) ____(4 letters) DISALLOWED him to go to the office to get Mr Teo, who would issue a compulsory search (in school)for his wallet. Somemore, it was stolen in class. Ms Fucked Up (Real name not used, to protect her shithead identity) told Marcus to stay in class, when the culprit most likely was in class, and would have been arrested. Or maybe not, since Bing Geng and Reagan left class before Physics. Even though I do not have any hatred against BG, i sort of think he stole Marcus's wallet.

So, Miss Fucked Up, hopefully you kena fried cuttlefish, because your fucked up attitude and kp-ness made my friend lose a wallet with $70, and let that stupid fucker who stole his wallet free. Not only this, you fucking scolded me when i helped them with CIP last year. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU BITCH

If you all know who this teacher is (damn obvious), don't tell her. Make her feel her guilt (if she has a conscience in the first place). If my story, or Marcus's story is wrong, tell me at once. TYVM.

Part 1: The Basics

Mahjong Introduction ----(MI)

Mahjong, or Mah-jong, or Mahjongg, or Mahjonng, or whatever the hell you spell it, is a card game, except:
You don't use cards. You use freaking huge and heavy tiles that are ugly .(Mine looks like some coconut kueh)

How to play -------------(H2P)

So you see these huge pile of tiles (148 without the animals, 152 with animals).
Arrange it to form rows of 18, and lay another row of 18 on it. The Host, or 庄, and the person playing opposite, will put a row of 19, and put another row of 19 on the first row. As long as the Host wins, the Host is not changed. Otherwise, the next person (depending on which direction you go), will be the Host. The person opposite the Host must place 19 tiles, and so on.

The Host will throw 2 dice to calculate which row to take the tiles, and throw two more dice, to calculate the position where he should take the first four tiles. So if he throws two fours, and later throws a three and a five, he would count (starting from himself), going clockwise. The player to his left would be 2, and so on. So when rolling 4/8/12 you will take from the row on your right side. The next 2 dice, a total of 8, is used to calculate where you take your tiles (from the row). 8 means counting from the RIGHT 8 tiles, and take 4 tiles (2 above 2 below) and place it in your side. Deal this way to everyone (clockwise) until everyone has 12 tiles. Then, the Host jump cards, or 跳牌， where he takes one tile, ignore the one below, the one next to it, and the one below the one next to it, and take the tile. (If this confuses you, this means take the tile 2 tiles to the LEFT of the first tile.)

The Host starts by throwing a tile. But first, flower cards (1,2,3,4 of blue or red coloured weird tiles, as well as the centipede, cockerel, cat and mouse) must be placed face down. Then, take tiles from where you STARTED dealing. Then, after the Host has thrown, other players (including the host on his next turn), will take tiles from where you STOPPED dealing.

Tiles -------------------(TL)

There are different types of tiles (namely 5 types). They are 万（10 thousands), 索 (bamboo shoots), 桐 (doughnut, boobs, hole, whatever you name it in english), 风向（东,南,西,北,中,发,白板）are the wind directions. They will be explained later. The remaining is the 花。They are used to collect cards (as explained above). Some of them will have 台， which is used to calculate winnings.

Collide/Eat -------------(CE)

Collide/Eat , or 碰，吃，are the two main ways to get combinations to win (Which will be discussed later.) When you have two of the same tiles, and someone (no matter who) tosses one of those, you may claim it for your own by saying peng loudly. You must place the three tiles face down, and toss out one tile. The person on your left will continue on.

When you have two consecutive tiles, and someone BEFORE you tosses one tile that can allow you to form three consecutive tiles (like you have 1/2 and someone tosses 3), arrange these three IN ORDER and place them face down. You must say 吃 very loudly, or people will skip your turn. Toss out one tile.

杠 happens when you have 3 of the same, and someone tosses one of the same out (or you get one). If one person tosses it, its called 明杠。 If you take it yourself, its called 暗杠。 If you 明杠, take one tile from the flower side (read above) and toss one out. Everyone must pay you one tai. If you 暗杠, do the same, except claim 2 tai.

You may not eat from people who are not before you (opposite, after you or yourself)

Winning -----------------(WN)

The most basic way of winning is explained here. Basically, you must get 4 set of 3-combo, mainly 3-of-a-kind (2/2/2), or 3-consecutive (1/2/3) and a pair of eyes (a pair of the same tile). You may find it weird, that you are forced to win with 14 tiles when you start with 13. When you have one tile left, as long as anyone throws that tile out, stand up, shake the table, and say 胡 (dunno whether correct chinese spelling or not)，and you win! But if you do NOT win, and say hu, you are disqualified from the match (诈胡)，and if you play money, you must pay everyone the cost of one tai, which will be discussed later. 屁胡，or winning without tai, is discouraged, since you must pay everyone one tai, unless you have a set combo or you got the winning tile yourself.

Losing ------------------(LS)

Read the above, and when it applies to someone else, you have lost!

Intermediate

Different ways to win ---(W2W)

You can win with the following combos for more tai (bonus in brackets).

The 4 basic wins
1. 清一色（7)
Your whole hand must be of the same house (万，桐，索）

2. 四大罗汉 (12)
You must 杠 (get 4 of a kind) 4 times before winning.

3. 大四喜 (12)
You must win by having combos of 东，南，西，北。Combine with 2 for devastating results.

4. 十三妖（13)
Get 东,南,西,北,中,发,白板,一万，九万，一索，九索，一桐，九桐。

Tai ---------------------(TAI)
A tai, taiwan that tai, not shit in malay, is a point that you score. You need at least one tai to win so that you dun zhahu, as noted far above.

Ways to gain tai
Get 3 of a kind of your wind direction including 中,发,白板. (The current host is East, to his left is south, opposite him is west, and to his right is north; everyone will gain tai if they peng or 中,发,白板.). You will gain 1 tai. If you kang your wind (4 of a kind), add 2 more tai.

The wind that you are playing now (N,E,S,W) will add one tai or 3 tai if you peng or kang respectively.

Get a flower that has your number (1 is host, 2 is his left, 3 is opposite, 4 is his right). Add one tai. If you get an animal, add one tai each. If you get 2 animals (Must be cock and centipede or cat and mouse) add a total of 3 tai for them (2 for the animals, one bonus).

Winds -------------------(WND)
Winds are North, South, East, West, Center (Zhong), Hair (Fa) and Whiteboard (Bai Ban).

Advanced Technique
(PEW)
Do the Basic 6 items Checklist Copyrighted by Lim Pei to see which tile you should throw.

1. Did someone throw that card before? If yes, tick once. If not, don't tick.

2. Do you need that tile? If not, tick. If yes, don't tick.

3. Is it a POSSIBLE way for an enemy to finish the game? If not, tick. If yes, don't tick.tck.

4. Does an enemy need it for the Green One Colour combo? If not, tick. If yes, don't tick.

5. Is that tile COMMON (Ten and Ninety thousand, One and Nine bamboo, One and Nine Doughnut, all wind directions)? If yes, tick. If not, don't tick.

6. If that person is holding to one tile, and need ONE more to WIN. If the tile that you want to throw is common, do not tick. Otherwise, tick.

7. If your enemy has 5 tai or more and is winning; do not tick. Otherwise, tick.

If you have 4-7 ticks, toss the tile out. If you have 1-4 ticks, do not toss it out. If you have 4, decide which is the better choice yourself.

Cheats and Secrets:
When an enemy is taking the tile, watch closely where he/she places it. Even better: Try to spy what it is. If you cannot, wait until your enemy tosses a tile next to where he/she placed that original one next to. Usually, the tile will be a -2 to +2 difference, unless it is of another set.

Outpsych an enemy. Fake them that you need a certain card, but is instead waiting for a close card (Like you're waiting for a 2 you tell them not to toss 1.)

If it does not work, use reverse psychology. If you need a 2, tell them that if they play a 2, you win.

If an enemy has 5 tai or more and is winning, and you can win but is a fart win (屁胡), be a man. just do it. Paying 3 tai (1 to each) is better than all of you paying 15 tai together to one person.

Last tip: Note a player's characteristics. Some important tips on the way some DHS students play:

Mabel : Doesn't play.

Ting Pei: Wear her patience down with super long games. She will eventually play what you want, or play nonsense-ly.

Chia Wan Ting : Reverse psychology works best.

Cherie : Guard tiles properly, do not think that she's a noob, or she will own you.

Suat Yee : She places cards in nonsense positions, so do not bother trying to spy. She has a knack of trying to play Green One Colour combos, so once you see her get 2 3-combos of the same kind, start guarding!

Lim Wan Ting : Observe her actions carefully. Usually she gives herself away, and a lot of zhahu occurs. Playing with her may occasionally be risky, but if she plays money, get ready for some earning. Use outpsyching, especially if you know she has your wanted tile.

Adelyn : Guard tiles.

Gladine : Outpsych and play around with tiles. Has knack of keeping doughnuts.

Sam Chan : Guard tiles properly. Do not let him build up tiles. Finish the game ASAP.

Jon Sung : Guard tiles properly, outpsyching may work.

Joshua Mei : No challenge, do not play unless you get money.

Geoffrey : Do not let him build up tiles. Finish the game ASAP. May occasionally do stupid stuff.

Yuan Wei : Ultimate mahjong loser with 23 continuous losses in a chalet. Play only if:

1. You have too much time

2. You need him to fill up the position

3. You are playing money.

I supposed that Jon Sung gave up on this quest cos he couldn't 忍心 to kill it.

More Halo 3 stuff

Some more Halo 3 stuff i discovered while laming around on easy, since i pretty much got owned by legendary flood on cortana.

-Before the scarab appears in "The Storm" (best before you destroy the last anti-air), get to the guided missile turret. Do NOT press B. Then, when the Scarab descends, aim for its butt cover that will reveal its power core. Start blasting missiles at it, and do not stop until the scarab rotates (so that you lose the lock on its butt plate). The power core will be destroyed as well, and its a quick scarab down. (You can get the achievement "Too close to the Sun" by blasting one of the Banshees out of the sky as well)

-You can get TWO spartan lasers from the mission "The Covenant". The second one is near where the pelican crashed (see the opening sequence).

-By killing the Arbiter in the 3rd Tower in the Covenant, and swapping any weapon for his energy sword, you can make the Arbiter become a missile battery (fuel rod, rocket), or laser turret (spartan laser). Its particularly useful later on, where you need to breach the Citadel. As far as i know, the Arbiter doesnt really bother to whack with his Grav Hammer, so dun bother giving it to him.

-There's a shortcut (of around 15 seconds) in the last part of the mission "Halo". Simply ignore the waypoint, and keep to the left (avoiding the hole in the middle; avoid the ramp as well).

-There's a rocket launcher in the crashed plane (after the first terminal) in the Ark. Not particularly useful, since you can get mass fuel rods.

-Fuel Rod shells actually arc downwards. It is also possible to bounce the Fuel Rod shells off walls or the floor.

-Plasma cannons down Hunters pretty fast.

-Maulers are imba (in custom game mode), since a dual-wield headshot is fatal.

-Try landing on the Covenant ship (using hornet) in the Covenant. When it lifts off, have fun for 15 secs until you drop off and die.

-Throw fire grenades at a Hunter's back. Watch as orange juice flows out constantly.

-Listen to what your teammate says when you flip a Mongoose (as in drive until it flips over).

-Shortcut (or bug) in The Storm; i shot down a banshee, and drove it to the AA Gun. If you get hit by the AA Gun (by stupidly flying into the way), you'll fly off pretty far (i flew from there to the scarab place).

-With the skull "Whos your daddy" or sth like that, one of the Elites will mention that he(?) has a daughter called Cheryl when you pass him a weapon. Seriously!

Nice ward trap ftw. Except that i trapped myself.

Anyway, production of Cosmo Memory is almost complete, except for a list of around a few thousand bugs that need resolving. Some updates below:

-Barret's Catastrophe now deals hero damage (for all limit breaks). They deal full damage to everything, but is reduced by armour.

-There's a Gold Chocobo (invisible) wandering around the map. It has random names, which currently include Gnus Nathanoj and Nilgnoy. More will be added soon.

-Chocobo breeding now only includes Blue. :(

-Submarine is rather bugged, so it shall be left out for now.

-Snowboarding mini game added. Gold Saucer will NOT be implemented. The Corel Prison part will be skipped.

-Gongaga mini quest added. No spoilers :)

-Currently Cloud's omnislash is based on Juggernaut's omnislash. It will be changed soon.

In totally unrelated news, Joshua failed to defeat Yuan Wei's record of 27 losses in mahjong consecutively. Joshua only managed a measly 14 on Tuesday, and 10 on Wednesday.

This post was written 5 mins after the first one.

I shall talk abt Halo 3, for no particular reason.
Currently have 27 achievements unlocked.
Current skulls : Blind, Famine, Mythic, Grunt Birthday Party (REALLY!), Iron
Currently playing Heroic campaign; stuck on "The Covenant".

Something about GBP skull (look above), when you headshot a grunt, a shower of coloured paper(?) scatters around the Grunt, dealing minor damage. Basically, this causes INSTANT death to any orange or red hat grunt, whereas damaging Jackals and grey grunts. It seems to have no effect on brutes or whatsoever.

And Gravity Hammer > Hunter. 2hit KO. 1 hit from back.

Some secrets : Theres a 'no skateboarding' sign somewhere on Crows Nest (forgot where exactly). Theres also a sign of a man walking up a staircase near the barracks.
For more fun in the Barracks; place a grav lift when you enter the barracks. (Where the brute throws the marine after 10 secs) The marine will NOT die if he doesnt crash into the wall.

You can kill Johnson in "Halo" to get a one shot Spartan laser. From now on, he will take the nearest weapon on the floor when he revives (I made him take a Energy Sword)

It IS possible to jump down from the floor above in the ark (where you activate the cartographer) to the one below for evac. All you need is to aim, throw a grav lift below, and jump into the area. With luck, you shld have around 35% of ur hp deducted, but no death.

There is a small part of the sky on one campaign mission that looks like a human face.

On Crow's Nest mission part 2 (Gift with Purchase), where you need to evac the marines in the barracks, you can jump on top of the pelican that is evacuating the marines. However after a while you will die.

On mission The Covenant, near the end part where you had to breach the Citadel, at the first bend before the Hornet, (there are 3 bends) jumping down or driving a vehicle down is instant death. After you board a Hornet, disembark and try again. Now you would not die.

This is not really a secret, but on the mission Floodgate, on board the Flood Ship where you have to retrieve Cortana, there are small (not exactly) lumps that hold many small flood thingies. Smash it with your Gravity Hammer for some juicy action. No points awarded though.

Theres one small spot in the middle of the map at the starting part of mission "Halo" that causes instant death when you walk into it. (A small hole; avoidable)

On Mission 3, Tsavo Highway, I got a banshee within 6 mins. I ended the mission in 16 mins. At the place where you see the 3 or 4 choppers and first barrier, look at the sky. Occasionally, Banshees will fly over you. I was super lucky, and got one down with 2 beam rifle shots. Then, just fly OVER the tunnel, and mission complete.
I should be able to complete within 10 mins, but since i had to get the 15k points for achievement, i decided to fly around and do some hunting. (The sky near the choppers is a good place; there are at least 15 banshees up there, each granting around 175 points.)

Btw, not really a secret, but Master Chief blows up an AA wraith in 3 melee whacks, when you need around 6 rockets to blow it up.

New thing i found out about dota - the roll system
To other people, it does nothing but for me, it typically shows wad type of hero i will random, and how well i will do for the game.

So for game 1, i typed -roll 1337 and rolled 128.
Str Hero : 1/4/7
Agi Hero : 2/5/8
Int Hero : 3/6/9
If roll a 0, reroll.
If score <668, game = pwn
If score >668, game = lose
If score = 668, reroll.

Then, i got PotM, and obliterated the enemy team.

i got nevermore. which i SHOULD be able to own.

The second part is rather true (the <668, >668 thing.)

Today is stupid. (As long as got schl, that day = stupid)
Got this stupid Yr5 orientation form that mysteriously disapparated from my bag and then appeared right after Mrs Bok scolded me at flag raising. Stupid form.

Then, Ziyu msg me at 9+ am, and said he would be coming to schl at 12. What for?

Later, he called me at 12.15, and luckily Mrs Chu is either deaf, or decided to ignore me.

At 1.45, when it began to rain, Ziyu decided to go back. 1hr 45 min in schl. The travelling time from his house to schl and back is longer.

And next, more random pictures (since i haven't updated Cosmo Memory yet). Beta test for random encounters will be made available some time next week. Screenshots will be up by this Tuesday.

Today pon schl got a few reasons:
1. I'm tired
2. Mock UN Conference is stupid
3. I want to rush out first open beta for Cosmo Memory
4. Tsun and gang went for Dragon Kiln (lame pottery crap)
5. etc, etc, etc

Since i had like ample time for test running the battle system of Cosmo Memory, i tried full cinematic mode for limit breaks, where the player just watches his character do a limit break, unable to control it. This system (which is bugged), sucks, for obvious reasons mentioned a few words earlier. Hence, i changed it to cinematic for Limit Break cast; and then turn back to RTB mode. Screenshots will be up soon.

More updates: (Mainly limit breaks)
-Aeris's 4th limit (Great Gospel) does not turn ur party invulnerable since its bugged, and the invulnerability will last forever. Regen, barrier, Mbarrier and dispel will still be used.

-Barret's satellite beam re-made; now it looks like the particle beam from CnC Generals mixed with CnC3's Ion cannon.

-Tifa's combos now do not need reel rolling (as was in the original FF7). It takes too much time, and now, its just chaining hits.

-Implemented blade beam for Cloud.

-Vincent now morphs properly when he uses Death Gigas.

-Cloud's cross slash has a 13% chance to paralyze units (that are not immune to paralysis, of course)

-Some random combat items added (Mute mask, Vampire Fang, Grenade etc.)

-You can type -skip to skip Cloud's opening story.

-Expanded the story to the Sephiroth killing Aeris part. (Don't worry. Using a phoenix down will revive her lmao.)

-Random encounters made... more interesting.

-Will upload a screenshot or video of Red XIII Cosmo Memory Limit Break cinematic

-Red XIII's voice can be switched between -Red1, -Red2, -Red3, all case sensitive. Red1 is the Far Seer voice, Red2 is the Raider's voice, and Red3 is just the sound of a wolf growling.

-The above update will only affect one person, stupidlamer, since he's the only one that can use Red XIII.

Next, is the limited update on Cosmo Memory RPG
Basically, it is a WC3 RPG based off Red XIII of FF7. Game starts at Kalm, after leaving Midgar. After Cloud does some storytelling, the game starts with a boss battle.

This is a 8 player map of size Epic. Players can -save/-load to save or load character levels (abit bugged). Players are allowed to choose Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Cait Sith, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid or Aeris. In this map, Aeris doesn't get slaughtered, so too bad.

Only the legendary stupidlamer can use Red XIII. Wahaha.

This weekend got 2 lame dota games. The first was with Beefysteak and gang. Techies 14:7, beyond godlike streak unended. Second was with Keith, Tim, Cookieee, and some noob called chi0.sky. Claimed to be a chi0 clan leader, but he play ogre like playing with lifestealer. Basically, he never casted any spells to help teammates. Never fireblast when teammates need it, bloodlust <10>

Keith did some zomg imba farming, and got an assault cuirass and a BoT i think, by lvl 14.

He had end game CS of 434/51. Freak.

And sniper was cute. He got Mr. Siva's ice armor (check www.getdota.com/changelog.txt for Mr.Siva's Shiva Guard) and he has so much HP that SB killed him in like 5 hits.

The same spiritbreaker kept PM-ing Keith, saying he was very pro (which is true).

End game score:

20 random facts about DotA that you most probably would not know

1. The target of Chain Frost (target of cast) will be stunned for an insignificant amount of time. This cancels teleportation or any other channeling.

2. Decreprify STOPS or PREVENTS DAMAGE from being dealt with some skills. They are: Echo Slam, Poison Touch, Land Mines, Suicide Squad Attack (!!!), Craggy Exterior (not important), Shadow Word, Rain of Chaos stun damage, Fatal Bond damage.

3. Decreprified units are unable to disperse or backtrack (not 100% sure)

4. If a unit is under the effects of Poison Attack (viper, venomancer, naix), Viper Strike, Frost (Eye of Skadi), Hex (Skill or Guinsoo), Maim, Life Break, and maxed out Upheaval, even a Night Stalker only moves a measly 10 ms at night (if he has 522 movespeed).

1. Noob, n00b
A noob is basically a derogative term for a newbie. It is usually used when someone fails a backstab, suicides, tower dives, and feeds enemies. The word "nub" and "newb" are also considered as "noob"

2. B
By telling your allies to b, you are basically telling them to retreat to towers or go back to the fountain. If you press too many b's, such as bb, people may think you're about to leave (byebye), or you're going to get backstabbed by a bristleback (bb).

3. MH
MH is the short form for maphacker.

4. Banned
If you have a banlist on while a person leaves, press enter and ctrl+v. This word shows up. Some people use it even though they do not have banlists, just to act cool

5. F**k
A rude word used to express disgust, irritation, hate, anger, and just about anything else. Often used when a mher (check 3) backstabs a low hp hero, when a pudge somehow hooks you from fog, or any random events such as getting stuck in a creep wave and dying to roshan.

6. Ms
Ms is the in-game term for missing, where a hero leaves his/her lane to do shopping, rune scouting or ganging.

7. Gang, GB
Gang is basically two or more heroes beating an enemy hero to death. When a person types gang lion, it is not supposed to be mixed with the dorsal root ganglion (the nervous system thing).

8. GG
Good game, an expression used when a team knows they are going to lose. Not to be mixed up with Gloria Goh.

9. Leavers will be banned/Livers will be bent
Usually, a host with a banlist or players on the team with a banlist says this to sort of discourage leavers from leaving.

10. -ap
Typing -ap within first 15 seconds of game results in allpick mode, where sentinel and scourge heroes are able to be chosen. ap stands for allpick, not attitude problem.

Friday sucks. I got back my Physics results, which i just passed (53), and then slacked through chinese and mock un. later in the afternoon, me and jeff wanted to play ball with tsun kueh and kenehneh, but then the volleyballers kope the court until god-knows-when. (CQ, a.k.a. maphacking bastard, said 6). I went back with tsun kueh at arnd 5.30.

Yesterday got call from some ah beng sounding person. Apparently i saw an ad on classified and there was a rather good offer for a music teacher (grade 8 prac + theory and lots of free time), and when i called him/her, no one listened. Then, i found out that he lived in sengkang. And then i had to take around 50 mins of MRT, then transfer to LRT, and then go his house.

His child (i think) is really really really uber imba-lly stupid. I tell him, go play this note. He ask : "Why?" until you get fed up. Later, he like got butter finger liddat. He hold his metronome up for no reason, and dropped it on his own foot. His mother comforted(not the sick way) him for like 15 mins before he stopped crying. The worst part is ahead. He play piano halfway, then started nose bleeding, and made a few of the white keys red. After like 1 min, he vomitted on the piano. Now, his dad has to get people to repair and clean it.

Overall 4hr trip (1hr theory 1hr practical), $350 a month. Abit out of the way, and got student who should take part in special olympics, but at least pay was ok. And he looks really like the ah beng phd dude in our schl. All that he needs now is a gold chain.

Today morning saw some tall dude (abt 195cm++) playing basketball. The first ball, he did a double-double clutch lay up which missed. Later he did a windmill dunk. Knn. His hang time will even make ah nan (boobs, jiannan, limpeh, fear-flame, nandri) jealous.

Later, i went to play DotA with zenn, ziyu and zhenzhou (Z gang). The first game was stupid. I used zeus and got 2 kills in 3 mins. Then all leave. The second game really sucks. The Z Gang seem to have deproved some, and zenn basically cannot play a few heroes properly. Ziyu dced in like 5 secs, so we had a 4-5 disadvantage, although we still won.

The last game was really stupid, so i shall not mention it except for the fact that my witch doctor SHOULD be able to get 20 kills if not for mass ks-ing.

And i shall dedicate a small part to the mhing bastard, cheng qian. If you are reading this, let me tell you that you should stop defending maphacking teammates, and stop maphacking. I shall not use rude words here, as they may scare small kids. So whenever we win, don't be sore, and say that we maphack, even though we clearly know you did. So stfu, k thx.

Today, i had one of the worst dota games ever in my life. Firstly, Death Prophet (Yang_seh, some 2j dude) did not add silence early on, and thus, got owned by balanar. Then, he started to talk crap (look below to see examples) and pissed off Mintaka so much he decided to suicide tower.

Multiply what you see from these 2 screenshots by 1123581321 and thats the amount of crap you have to read from him. In the end, we did a mass courier rush, and my crow dagon-ed bakingtray (zenn) to bits. Fried tormented soul, anyone?

This shows that Mikro (Sherman i think) and Yang_Seh (some gay) are damn deprived.

At this moment in the replay, Mintaka (level 3 KOTL) decides to kill roshan

The second, is Cheng Qian's and the nightstalker's really frekaing obvious maphack. From the replay, Cheng Qian got a total of 7(!) haste runes, 3 invis runes, 4 illus and 1 regen. And he attempted to "fog" hook (mhers have no fog ftw) and missed like a pig. Go play lan with him 1v1. No mh = nothing. You don't see the ownage rx.pitbull. You see the kena sai pitbull.

And a funny bug. NS suddenly "killed himself", which is impossible. Due to this stupid blogger not able to accept replays, i cannot post it.

In a totally unrelated match, my lich did 2 triple kills, thanks to exceptionally stupid, as-good-as-AI-and-zhikai players.
